Use Zammad
Welcome to the user documentation of Zammad. Here you can learn how to use Zammad to collaborate with your colleagues even better!
General
In general, Zammad should be pretty self explanatory. However, there are features that are not obvious at first glance. These features are described in this documentation as well as some general explanations and tips.
This documentation is divided into different sections. Currently you are viewing the General section in the Documentation > Use Zammad section. Use the left sidebar to navigate to your desired information or the search in the header. You can even activate the search by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl k.
TIP
This user documentation is embedded in a comprehensive documentation of Zammad. Because this section is intended for users, we applied some tweaks.
- The search is limited to user content only. However, if you are an admin or an interested user, you can search for content across the whole documentation. To do so, activate a page outside the user documentation (e.g. Introduction) or simply click on the Zammad Hub in the top left corner.
- The left navigation sidebar only shows the structure of the user content. If you want to see the whole structure of the documentation, the same as above applies.
Zammad Beginner
If you are new to Zammad and ticketing software at all, our recommendation is to have a look at the Start with Zammad page. You can find a description of some important UI elements there as well as basic ticket attributes and how to use them.
Advanced User
If you are already familiar with the basics of Zammad, you should have a look at the advanced features page.
If you can't find what you are looking for, try the search in the header of the site.
Administrator
Are you an administrator and want to learn how to configure and manage Zammad? Then head over to the manage Zammad section, have a look at the tutorials and reference and use the search.
